Coconut Grove Beach Resorts Wins GRA Award.

“Most Improved Taxpayer, 2015”, From Ghana Revenue Authority

Coconut Grove Beach Resort, Elmina, won another award at the just ended Ghana Revenue Authority Awards and dinner dance hosted at the Banquet Hall, State House.
This award is on the back of 2 awards they won prior from the Ghana Tourism Authority in 2015.
The citation below, which accompanied the award, was read at the presentation:

The COCONUT GROVE BEACH RESORT AND CONFERENCE CENTRE LTD is part of the Hotel Industry that has seen tremendous competition in Cape Coast and Elmina especially within the past three years.
Your efforts at improving the services and business environment, your dedication in ensuring that customers walk away with precious memories has been phenomenal.
Your contribution towards tax revenue and more importantly tax compliance especially in filling tax returns remains remarkable.
We are happy doing business with you and have the distinguished honor in awarding you the Most Improved Taxpayer for the Medium Tax Office (DTRD) – 2015.

In an interview with the General Manager of Coconut Grove Beach Resort, Mr. Victor Opoku Minta, expressed his sincere appreciation to the Ghana Revenue Authority, for the honor done the Hotel, by acknowledging our contribution to the growth of the Authority and its revenue generation. Our being chosen out of the 1,000 or more Hospitality facilities in the Country, was a testimony in itself, to the importance Coconut Grove Hotels, and Groupe Nduom for that matter, placed in honoring its obligations to statutory payments to Regulatory and State Authorities.

He thanked the Owners and Board Chairpersons of Coconut Grove Hotels, Dr. and Mrs. Papa Kwesi Nduom, for their leadership, direction and discipline instilled in the Management of the Chain of Hotels, which ensured we paid our taxes on time and filed our returns appropriately. Mr. Opoku Minta thanked the Management and Staff for their continued dedication to work, which has contributed to the Hotels success in its 23 years of operation.
